Do you find sign language mesmerising, and find yourself trying not to stare when people are signing around you? Here is your opportunity to learn this beautiful language of the Deaf. Auslan is especialy poetic and beautiful when signed to music, and as an added bonus, it's easier to remember signs learnt this way.

Join Asphyxia, Deaf circus performer turned puppeteer, as she teaches the Australian classic song My Island Home in Auslan. This workshop is a delightful combination of music, song and dramatic expression, guaranteed to get you smiling.

Asphxia is a Deaf circus performer turned puppeteer. She has over 12 years expenience as a professional artist, working nationally and internationally. Her show The Grimstones - Hatched is the fifth work she has developed from the spark of an idea to a full length theatricdal production ready to tour the world!

She would love to share her Auslan language with others.
