TIMEART is a vision of utter unity. Bringing together instruments, electronics and projections, the group of international collaborators combine these individual elements into something completely intricate, immersive and visionary. Self proclaimed 'Intermedial Improvisors', the group seek out new connections and possibilities through the explorations of light, sound and space.
Joining TIMEART is Norwegian duo Streifenjunko, whose expanded instrumental techniques utilising Tenor Saxophone and Trumpet have scored them a lauded place alongside the world's finest avant garde players including Keith Rowe and Tetuzi Akiyama. Add to this performances from now Berlin-based Australian improvisors Clayton Thomas and Clare Cooper, and you have an evening of transfixing improvised sound, vision and more!
This project is generously supported by the Federal Foreign Office, the Goethe-Institut, the Kunststiftung NRW and the Minister President of North Rhine-Westphalia
