Celebrate the festive season with smooth jazz tunes and infectious grooves. Embarking on their first Australian tour and performing in Brisbane for one night only, Vehere features Brisbane's own multi award-wining pianist and composer Sean Foran. Formed during Foran’s recent stint in the UK, Vehere features Belgian clarinet player Joachim Badenhorst, Norwegian vocalist Kari Bleivik and Sean Foran on piano.
Prepare to be mesmerized as Vehere interweaves gentle vocal melodies and emotive ballads to echo the sounds of classic ECM releases and reimagine jazz standards. Joining Vehere for the show is acclaimed duo Macklin and Newcomb (vocalist Hannah Macklin and improvisational musician Steve Newcomb) who will perform original compositions steeped in modern jazz and heavily layered pop.
Vehere’s tour of Australia coincides with the release of their debut album, Unravelling, recorded in the UK earlier this year.
